Troubleshooting - Connection problem - The HomeHawk remote connection takes a long time to connect.

  • Check the signal strength of the mobile device. If you have 1 or 2 bars, this issue may occur.
  • If a LTE connection is not established it takes a while to connect.
  • Some routers close the ports after a period of time and will take time for a remote connection. If the ports are open all the time it takes less time for remote connection.
  • If you are using a remote wi-fi connection and a mobile data connection, try turning off the wi-fi connection if the wi-fi signal is weak. (Data charges will apply)
