Troubleshooting - HomeHawk App Message "Wi-Fi Information is requied".

Notice Wi-Fi information is required to use this app appropriately. iOS requires location permission to obtain Wi-Fi name (SSID). Panasonic DOES NOT use he location information for any purpose other than the above and Geo-fencing (compatible device only).

If iOS on your iPhone is updated to 17.1.1 or later, location permission is turned off without informing customers. This is necessary even if you had previously set location permission on. This is performed by the operating system and not the app.

You need to turn on location permission after starting the HomeHawk app. Then follow the onscreen instructions shown on the pop up message shown on the Home Hawk app.

or, from your iOS device go to Settings, select HomeHawk or Home Network System, select Location, select “While using the App” or “Always”.
