Confirm that [Others] → [Eco Mode] → [Battery]/[AC]/ [Network] is not set to "On."
When [Eco Mode] is turned on, the unit will power off when there is no button operation or LCD monitor touch operation performed for a certain time.
Under the following circumstances, the power will not automatically turn off, even if any of the previously mentioned settings are set to "On."
- While a memory card is being accessed during recording, during playback, while formatting the media, etc.
- During pre-recording.
