Troubleshooting - Massage Chair - Power Related Problems
Sometimes the power won't turn on when the power switch is pressed again when a massage has finished.
- Approximately 5 seconds are required for program
termination after a massage finishes. Wait at least 5 seconds
once all movement has stopped before pressing the power
button.
- For models with a Child lock make sure the child lock is turned off.
The unit will not operate at all.
Possible cause and solutions
- The power cord has been disconnected.
- The power switch on the unit has not been turned on.
- There is a Power Failure.
- An auto program selection button, upper body massage
selection button or lower body massage off/on button hasn’t
been pressed after pressing .
- For model EP-MAJ7 and EP-MAF1K Check if the he child lock or lock has been applied. Turn child lock to off or lock.
If the chair still will not operate, contact the nearest Authorized Panasonic Service center for an inspection and repair.
When the power switch is turned on there is a humming sound.
These sounds are perfectly normal and will not have any effect on the operation of the unit.
