Troubleshooting - No sound - DVD-S700
- Check the Audio or video connection between the DVD player and the TV. (example; composite red and white audio cables, HDMI cable)
- Turn on your TV and set the TV to the correct input the DVD player is connected to on the TV.
- During playback of DTS source, there will be no sound from the speakers. Select a different audio source (e.g. Dolby Digital). (for DVD-S700 model only) or please connect the unit to an AV receiver that can decode DTS via an HDMI terminal, and set “Audio Out” to “Bitstream". See How to set Audio out to Bistream or PCM.
