Troubleshooting - Reclining problems.

Reclining does not take place even though a massage is started in auto or pre-program modes.

  • In some cases the seat may not automatically recline depending on the position (angle) of the backrest or the legrest.
  • Automatic reclining may not activate when the backrest is reclined to flat position more than massage position and legrest is in upper position.
  • When you use the manual operation only for legs, automatic reclining will not activate. This feature is not available on all models.

Reclining does not take place even though a massage is started in auto or pre-program modes.

If the unit encounters an obstacle or if excessive force is exerted on it during operation, in the interests of safety, the unit will come to a stop.

If all markings and buttons on the control panel start to flash, turn off the power switch, wait for approximately 10 seconds and then turn the power switch on again.


The unit vibrates when reclining operation commences.

This is perfectly normal and will not have any effect on the operation of the unit.


The backrest, seat does not return to the upright position.

Possible cause and solutions

  • If the unit is stopped by automatic shut-off or by pressing the stop Stop, button it will not return automatically.
  • If the chair loses power during operation.
  • The Timer feature is activated. (Not available on all models)

To return from the reclined position to the original position, press the power Power button twice.



The unit vibrates when reclining operation commences.

This is perfectly normal and will not have any effect on the operation of the unit.
