Troubleshooting - Rice produces an odor.

Possible causes:

• Rice was not rinsed adequately.
• Foreign matter or debris between the pan, cast heater or temperature sensor.
• The rice was cooked with oil.
• The Keep Warm function was used for over 5 hours.
• The volume of rice to keep warm is too small.
• Is the Keep Warm function being used with the scoop left in the rice cooker?
• Is the Keep Warm function being used on cold rice?
• Is the outer lid securely closed?
• Is the inner pan clean?
• Was the AC cord unplugged or switch turned off during cooking?
