Troubleshooting - Rubber burning smell from vacuum.

The Vacuum belt may be stuck or broken.


Turn off and unplug your vacuum cleaner, and check if the belt is broken or if there is string, carpet fiber or hair keeping the belt from moving the brush roller.


If you encounter such items remove them, and check the belt to see if the belt is broken.


If the belt appears undamaged. Plug the vacuum back in and try again.
