Troubleshooting - Shaver does not operate even after charging.
Here's a list of things to check if you have a cordless grooming product with a built-in rechargeable battery and are experiencing power or charging issues:
- Charging Connection: Ensure that the charging cable is securely connected to both the shaver and a functional power outlet. Verify that the charging indicator on the shaver is active.
- Charging Stand: For models with a charging stand make sure the main body is in the charging stand all the way and make sure the charge status lamp glows.
- Battery Status: If your shaver has an indicator for battery status, check if it shows a low battery. Charge the shaver if needed.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Examine the shaving unit for any debris, hair, or blockages. Clean the shaving heads and surrounding area thoroughly.
- Power Lock Switch / Button: Confirm that the power button is functioning correctly. If your unit has a Power Lock switch make sure it is turned off.
- Battery Health: Rechargeable batteries have a lifespan. If your shaver is several years old, the battery might be nearing the end of its life.
Remember, these are general guidelines. Specific actions may vary depending on the shaver model. Always refer to the user manual for model-specific troubleshooting.
If you're still experiencing issues with your unit, we recommend submitting a repair request to have our service depot evaluate and address the problem.
