Troubleshooting - The front panel display on my DVD Recorder has gotten very dim. Changing the brightness setting has little to no effect.

The front display brightness adjusts automatically if set to "Automactic". You can change it to "Bright" or "dim"

1. Press [FUNCTIONS].
2. Press [▲,▼] to select "Other Functions", then press [OK].
3. Press [▲,▼] to select "Setup" and press [OK].
4. Press [▲,▼] to select "Front Display" or "FL Display" and press [OK].
5. Press [▲,▼] to select between "Bright", "Dim" or "Automatic" and press [OK].

The display turns dark during playback. When the unit is turned off, the unit’s display disappears. While using this mode the standby power consumption can be reduced.
