Troubleshooting - The remote control does not work properly. - Blu-ray
Possible solutions
- Change the batteries in the remote control.
- Confirm that the batteries are correctly placed in the remote. Check that the (+ and - ) direction of the batteries match those in the remote control.
- The remote control and this unit are using different signal codes. If you press a button and one of the following appears on the display screen you need to change the code.
SET 1 SET 2 or SET 3, Remote control 1 or Remote control 2
or if the Status LED and INFO LED flash for six times, you need to change the code.
The programming of the control code does vary by model. Select your model from the drop down list below for specific programming or if your model is not listed Refer to your models Operating Manual for the specific procedure.
Model DMP-BBT01
To change the code
- Turn the unit off once, and then turn it on again.
- while the "HOME" menu is displayed, touch and hold the [
] button on the main unit for more than 4 seconds. - Press and hold the [OPTION] and [G] buttons on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
The Remote control code for the main unit and the remote control will now be set to “1”.
Model DMP-BD45
When Set 1 is displayed
- Press and hold [OK] and the number [1] button at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
When Set 2 is displayed
- Press and hold [OK] and the number [2] button at the same time for more than 5 seconds.

- Press and hold [OK] and the number [1] button at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
