Troubleshooting - The remote has stopped working.

  • Check that the batteries are fresh, are of the same type and are installed with the correct polarity (+ & -).
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix different battery types (such as alkaline and -manganese batteries).
  • Do not use rechargeable (Ni-Cd) batteries.
  • The remote control and the unit may be using different codes. 
    If this is occuring you will see "Set 1", "Set 2", "Set 3", etc or "RC1", "RC2", "RC3" displayed on the units display when buttons on the remote are pressed:
    To correct:
    1. Press any button on the remote and look at the recorder's display. A number will appear on the display.
    2. Press and hold the number that appeared and press the [ENTER] or [OK] button on the remote control simultaneously for 10 seconds.
      (e.g. If "Set 1", press [1] or If "RC2", press [2])
