Warranty - Will a camera be warranted if I purchase it outside of Canada or the USA?

Camera's purchased outside of Canada do not qualify for warranty service from Panasonic Canada Inc. Camera's purchased outside of the USA do not qualify for warranty service from Panasonic USA.

Exception

If you purchased a Panasonic Digital Still Camera or a Digital Video Camera at an authorized Duty Free Shop in Japan, you are entitled to warranty service. Make sure that you received a "Tourist Model Limited Warranty Card". The Panasonic representative that performs your warranty service will need to see this warranty card.
