Why does my hair dryer stop emitting hot air and switch to cool air?

Your hair dryer may stop emitting hot air and switch to cool air due to an automatic overheating protection feature. When the dryer overheats, it automatically switches to cool air mode to prevent damage to internal components.

To resolve this:

  1. Turn off and unplug the hair dryer.
  2. Allow it to cool down for a few minutes.
  3. Before using it again, check that the air inlets and outlets are clear of any dust, hair, or other obstructions.

If the issue persists, consult your Operating manual..

for additional troubleshooting steps, as some models may require specific maintenance.
