Troubleshooting - Poor sound quality for a phone call - Earbuds

Use the following reference chart to diagnose sound quality during a phone call.

Update the units Firmware to the most recent using the Home Audio App.
Refer to "How to update the firmware on your True Wireless Earbuds".

Jittery noise and the music is interrupted momentarily Use the Panasonic Audio Connect App or Technics Audio Connect App to change the settings to "Connection Priority".
  1. Tap "Settings".
  2. Tap "Connections Modes Settings".
  3. Tap "Prioritize connectivity".
RZ-S300, RZ-S500, EAH-AZ70
Audio cuts in / out, there is poor sound quality, and there is interferences. Confirm the distance between your earbuds and the paired device (such as smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth®Registered devices) does not exceed 33 feet (10 meters). RZ-B110, RZ-B310, RZ-S300, RZ-S500, EAH-AZ70
Confirm that there are no obstacles (such as walls, doors, etc.) between your earbuds and paired device. Such obstacles can decrease the operating distance.
Turn off any other Bluetooth®Registered devices (which have been previously connected to your earbuds) that are not in use.
Do not cover the earbuds and Bluetooth®Registered device with hands for clear communication.
Confirm if the Bluetooth®Registered device (smartphone or PC) supports HSP and HFP profiles. RZ-S300, RZ-S500, EAH-AZ70
Confirm if the Bluetooth®Registered device (smartphone or PC) supports HFP profiles. RZ-B110, RZ-B310
From your app (Panasonic audio connect or Technics audio connect) settings, select Connections Mode setting and select Prioritize connectivity. RZ-S300, RZ-S500, EAH-AZ70
Place the earbuds in the charging case for 10 seconds and remove and re-connect to the Bluetooth®Registered device RZ-B110, RZ-B310, RZ-S300, RZ-S500, EAH-AZ70
If the above does not work - remove the earbuds from the Bluetooth®Registered device's settings and pair it once again.
The callers voice is low. Increase the volume level of the Bluetooth®Registered device(smartphone, PC, etc.), RZ-B110, RZ-B310, RZ-S300, RZ-S500, EAH-AZ70
Increase the volume on the earbuds Z-S300, RZ-S500, EAH-AZ70
Ambient sound when using Noise Cancelling Noise cancelling is temporarily reduced during a phone call to pick up your voice from the microphone. This is normal operation. Your earbuds will perform with optimal noise reduction once you exit the phone call. EAH-AZ70W, RZ-B310, RZ-S500W
