Troubleshooting - After a firmware update on a camera or lens, strange behavior of certain features occurs. - LUMIX

Even though extensive testing of every update is done prior to its release, it is impossible to simulate all the possible combinations of all the menu settings. After the update, turn your camera off and then on again. While it's not officially a step in the firmware update process, it's also a very good idea to do a "RESET" of your camera after the update is completed. In virtually every case, this will restore normal operation.

Note: The "RESET" procedure will restore all settings back to the factory defaults. Photos on your SD card will not be lost.
