Troubleshooting - Bluetooth® - Pairing cannot be done. - Audio Products

Possible cause and solutions

  • Check the Bluetooth devices condition. Confirm that it is turned on and Bluetooth is turned on.
  • If prompted for a passkey, input "0000".
  • This system can only connect to one device at a time. Confirm that it is not connected to another device. Disconnect the other device and try pairing the device again. Refer to "How to disconnect a Bluetooth® device.".
  • You can register up to 8 devices with this unit. If a 9th device is paired, the device that has not been used for the longest time will be replaced.
  • For some built in Bluetooth® devices you have to set the audio output to the device manually. Read the operating instructions for the device for details.
  • The pairing of the device was unsuccessful or the registration has been replaced. Try pairing the device again. Refer to "How to pair a Bluetooth® device.".
  • The device is out of the communication range. (approx. 10 m (33 ft)). Move the device nearer to the system.
