The Microwave has an energy saving mode that switches the microwave to a standby mode when there has not been any microwave operation or programming for 6 minutes.  After 6 minutes the display window backlight will go dark and operation of icons (except for fan, auto off and light) are not accessible. In this "stand-by state the Microwave uses less than 1 watt of power.  To "wake up" the microwave, the door of the microwave must be opened and closed.

Auto defrost will not start when 1 or 2 is entered as the weight.

When using Auto defrost, the item to be defrosted needs to weigh a minimum of .3 tenths of a pound.  (keypad entry 3).

When the oven is set to lbs, the Auto Defrost will not start with only 0.1 or 0.2lbs. (keypad entry 1 or 2), because it is too small an amount of food. It will work normally starting at 0.3lbs.  (keypad entry 3).

Example - When using Auto Defrost enter the weight of the food in pounds (1.0) and tenths of a pound (0.1). If a piece of meat weighs 1.95 lbs or 1 lb 14 oz, enter 1.9 lbs.
